No. Koins are points earned through tasks and used in the family shop. Allowance records money separately. The app does not hold, pay or transfer money; parents handle that outside the app.
Does my child need an email or their own phone?
No email is needed. Children use a PIN on a device authorised by a parent. A paired device can be shared by children in the same family.
Who chooses the tasks and rewards?
Parents set tasks, koins values and family shop items. Task approval is configurable; reward requests need a parent's decision.
Which devices and languages will be supported?
The launch is being prepared for Android, with the app in Brazilian Portuguese. An iOS version is planned for a later stage. An internet connection is required.
How much will it cost?
Plans and pricing have not been announced yet. You can request an email notification to hear when Koin for Kids becomes available.
